On a lighter note, the pursuit of political correctness has persecuted true English humor. Gone are the days of belly laughs and the uncontrollable noises that used to be associated with English comedy.
Admittedly English humor is cutting and disrespectful of nationality, gender and unforgivable of size shape or colour. Now confined to text messages and groups of friends, no more poking fun at each other, you can only poke fun at your own colour or kind, sad isn't it? Don't you think we need a good laugh now and then even if its at the expense of ourselves, our friends and others. The persecution continues because there are people who don't want to laugh or join in they just want us to be down trodden and miserable.
